Vortex Leader with 3×700 wheels

The Vortex-Leader custom trike got the 3×700 wheel set for a couple of weeks now and it’s a blast to ride.

Compared to the VTX, it should have slightly worst aerodynamics from the big wheels and the more upright seat, but its actually consistently 3-4km/h faster.

Hi Mark: I like the Vortex-Leader with the 3×26, nice setup. I noticed your rear tail light on the headrest. I have one (Planet Bike) on my Sprint X with the ICE seathead rest but I had to build headrest bar with foam and tape to accommodate the light mounting. Yours looks like it fits much better. What is the make or mfg of your taillight?

Interesting about the speed gain. What tires and size where/are you using on 3×26 and 3×28?
